With the desire of evolution and following the business expansion premise, it was extend in 2013 the European coverage, with the export of goods and services to Switzerland and equally for the African market, namely Angola for being one of the most emerging markets actually. With the awareness of responsible management practice and mindful of the competitive evolutionary reality, Metalcôvo - Metalúrgica do Côvo Lda. proudly extended the area of operation and, in the year of 2014 made new inroads in Belgium and Mozambique.

The main objective of aluminum frames systems is an efficient way to combine the visual harmony ensuring the security situation but equally light and ventilate buildings.
Selling quality products and targeted to several segments, Metalcôvo - Metalúrgica do Côvo Lda. has a wide range of services in frame systems , sliding, facade, safety and security and other systems.

Anvil Systems.

Metalcôvo has a full range of anvil systems. Normal windows and casement doors, fixed glazing, inward-stops, projecting, tilting, pivoting or tilt and sliding.
The anvil windowed system allow multiple opening applications combined with efficient thermal and acoustic sealing isolation with a long service life.
Consequently, it is a great investment in the short, medium and long term and are de- signed to be adapted to any possible needs.

Solar Protection.

It is increasingly common the demand for solar protection systems in order to improve indoor comfort and save energy without giving up design and aesthetics.
Aware of this need, Metalcôvo provides different systems that significantly reduce solar incidence, in Monoblock blinds or Sun-Break exterior aluminum blades.
Therefore, you can run modules with fixed or motorized blades, redirecting the sunlight according to the tastes of its user.

Thermal and Acoustic Isolation.

The world increasingly industrialized and populated customize the underlying problems to the natural development on one hand and constant levels of noise produced, leading to discomfort and obviously inherent physical risks to high exposure.
The aluminum frames with thermal point of rupture creates a barrier of thermal and acoustic insulation, providing greater comfort and well -being inside the building.

Doors.

Metalcôvo has a wide range of aluminum doors directed to several uses - home, shopping malls, shops, offices..., ideal for its performance, design and aesthetics.

Fire Resistant and Bullet Proof Systems.

As aluminum is a non-flammable material and has a melting temperature greater than 600 degrees, it is ideal for creating solutions resistant to fire.

The system meets the regulations that define superior resistance to 30 or 60 minutes of fire.

Other specific systems are designed to withstand the bullet impact.
They are tested in approved labs for this purpose as well quality assurance and product efficiency.

Sliding Systems.

The sliding systems range are comprised by modern solutions with or without a thermal break for any small, medium and large sizes. They appear as a viable option in the useful space savings, design and comfort developed in order to meet the new Energy Certification and Indoor Air Quality in Buildings, in that it allows sharper savings, respecting the new requirements of law.

Facades.

Facade systems are geared for building covering where the natural transparency and brightness is required, ensuring the project specific features in structural terms and air permeability, waterproofness and mechanical resistance to wind. There are several construction options, while respecting the safety, quality and environmental protection. Integrated solutions from the traditional model to the pasted structural glass or modular elements with constructive versatility offer.
